自2013年举办第一届以来，德国电影节一直致力于提供德国当代影坛佳作，加深中德文化交流。2021年，第九届德国电影节将再度如约而至。本届电影节将于11月5日至14日在北京举行，入选柏林国际电影节主竞赛单元、并代表德国角逐2022年奥斯卡国际竞赛影片的《定制男友》(I’m Your Man)将作为开幕片率先亮相。在为期十天的时间里，我们将为影迷朋友展映多部类型多样，话题各异的德国影片。
尽管今年新冠肺炎形势仍旧严峻，但电影人们依旧辛勤创作，不少新作克服重重困难问世。欧洲电影节也率先恢复线下放映，让“齐聚一堂看电影”重新成为可能。近两年，德国电影在世界各大节展依旧表现亮眼，德国电影节也旨在持续地为中国观众带来最新的德语新作，为身处两国的影迷和创作者搭建交流的平台。
第九届（中国）德国电影节由德国电影协会主办，北京德国文化中心·歌德学院（中国）和百老汇影城协办。本届电影节选片顾问团队由三人组成，他们分别是：中国电影艺术研究中心（中国电影资料馆）资深研究员李迅、导演黄骥（代表作《笨鸟》），以及电影垂直类媒体导筒编辑部。电影节活动期间，仍将协力各个放映场所及合作伙伴，组织映后对谈及特别活动，邀请中、德嘉宾共同欣赏、讨论德国电影。

Since its first edition in 2013, the Festival of German Cinema has been dedicated to offering the best of German contemporary cinema and deepening cultural exchange between Germany and China. 2021 will see the return of the 9th edition. The festival will be held in Beijing from November 5 to 14, and I'm Your Man, which was selected in the main competition of the Berlin International Film Festival and will represent Germany in the international competition for the 2022 Oscar, will be the opening film. Over the course of ten days, we will be screening numerous German films in a variety of genres and topics for our film fans.
Despite the continued severe situation of the pandemic this year, filmmakers have worked tirelessly and many new films have been released. Major European film festivals were also some of the first to resume offline screenings, making it possible to come together to watch films again. German films have continue to perform well at major festivals around the world, and the German Film Festival aims to bring the latest German film productions to the Chinese audiences, creating a platform for cultural exchange between cinephiles and filmmakers in both countries.The 9th German Film Festival (China) is organized by German Films together with co-organizers, the Goethe-Institut China and Broadway Cinema. The festival's selection team consists of threeadvisors: Li Xun, a senior researcher at the China Film Art Research Center (China Film Archive), director Huang Ji (for The Foolish Bird), and the editorial team of Directube, a leading media platform for film enthusiasts. During the festival, we will continue to collaborate with various screening venues and partners to organize post-screening conversations and special events, inviting Chinese and German guests to enjoy and discuss German cinema together.
